The Blue Ribbon Room brings together antique and vintage portraiture, English pottery, cut glass, ornate metalwork and small decorative objects chosen for their quiet romance and beautifully aged character.
At its center are two young figures dressed in blue: a vintage Baby Stuart portrait and a framed print after Sir Joshua Reynolds’ Simplicity. Around them, a matching pair of antique English cobalt and gilt pastoral vases, Japanese silver-tone candlesticks, cut-glass and porcelain keepsake boxes create the feeling of a room collected slowly rather than decorated all at once.
