Welcome to Shop of Old. By accessing this website, purchasing from our collection, or claiming items through Instagram, live sales, or direct message, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

General Conditions

Shop of Old offers a curated collection of antique and vintage goods sourced from estates. Each piece is previously owned and one of one.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Prices, availability, and product descriptions are subject to change without notice.

Inventory is limited and may change at any time.

Product Representation & Condition

All items are sold as described and photographed.

Due to the nature of antique and vintage goods, pieces may show signs of age, wear, patina, and prior use. These characteristics are inherent to their history and are not considered defects.

We take care to accurately present each item; however, variations in color, tone, and appearance may occur due to lighting and screen settings.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept the condition of the item.

All Sales Final

All items are sold as is, and all sales are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for any reason, including buyer’s remorse or failure to review item details prior to purchase.

Instagram, Live Sale & Direct Message Purchases

Items claimed via Instagram—whether through comments, direct messages, or live sales—are considered a binding purchase.

During live sales, instructions will be provided at the beginning of the event. If joining late, it is the buyer’s responsibility to understand the process before participating.

To claim an item during a live sale, comment the price shown. The first clear claim takes the piece.

In the event of multiple claims, Shop of Old reserves the right to determine the final buyer to ensure fairness.

Once an item is claimed, it is considered sold.

Invoices & Payment

After a claim, buyers must send a direct message with their name and contact information. An invoice will then be issued.

Payment is required in full within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Invoices may include shipping at the time of issue. For larger or more delicate pieces, shipping may be calculated separately once the item is packed.

Unpaid invoices are considered abandoned and may be canceled at our discretion. Items may then be offered to another buyer or returned to inventory.

Shop of Old reserves the right to:

Refuse future transactions
Restrict participation in future sales, including Instagram Live events
Cancel or refuse any order at our discretion

Repeated non-payment or withdrawn claims will result in removal from future sales.

Holds & Reservations

Due to the nature of one-of-a-kind inventory, items are not held or reserved without payment or a nonrefundable deposit.

Conversations, inquiries, or expressions of interest do not secure an item. A piece remains available until it is purchased.

Shipping & Restrictions

Shop of Old ships exclusively within the United States.

We do not offer international shipping. Orders placed with non-U.S. shipping addresses may be canceled at our discretion.

Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable U.S. shipping address.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Shop of Old is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage in transit.

Third-Party Shipping Disclaimer

If a buyer chooses to use a third-party shipping service or freight forwarder, Shop of Old is not responsible for any damage, loss, or issues that occur after delivery to the provided U.S. address.

Damage, Loss & Claims

In the event of damage during transit, claims must be filed directly with the shipping carrier.

Shop of Old is not liable for damage, loss, or delays once the package has been accepted by the carrier.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined in our listings, including item condition, shipping policies, and our all sales final policy.

Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without first contacting Shop of Old may be contested with supporting documentation, including:

Listing descriptions and photographs
Invoice records
Proof of shipment and delivery confirmation

Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks may result in refusal of future service and may be reported to payment processors.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shop of Old shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of any item.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the item.

All content on this site, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of Shop of Old and may not be used or reproduced without permission.
