Vintage Solid Brass Clamshell Ashtray | Footed Shell Trinket Dish

A beautifully aged vintage solid brass clamshell ashtray featuring a sculptural shell design, rich golden tones, and a naturally developed patina.

Crafted from heavy solid brass, this decorative piece features a scalloped clamshell silhouette with raised detailing and integrated cigarette rests along the upper edge. Three small feet elevate the dish slightly from the surface, giving it a distinctive footed design.

The brass has developed a warm, timeworn finish with darker areas, spotting, and natural variations in color. We have intentionally left the original patina unpolished to preserve its vintage character.

Originally designed as an ashtray, this versatile brass shell also makes a lovely jewelry catchall, trinket dish, or decorative accent. Its compact size and sculptural form make it especially well suited to a coastal-inspired interior, vintage dressing table, study, or collected tabletop arrangement.
