Titled “Pasture Scene” on the original label, this quiet pastoral composition depicts sheep along a wooded country lane. The soft palette and rural Kentucky subject are characteristic of the landscapes for which Sawyier is best known.
Presented under glass with cream matting in a gold-tone frame.
