Antique Gothic Revival Furniture Mount | Decorative Brass Hardware Fragment
A small fragment with striking architectural character.
This antique decorative brass mount was likely once applied to a cabinet, box, casket, or piece of ecclesiastical-inspired furniture. Its quatrefoil silhouette and raised dome accents suggest a Gothic Revival influence, with a central opening that may have accommodated a small finial, pull, or additional ornament.
The reverse is stamped A 77530C, offering a glimpse into its original manufacturing history. Time has softened the surface to a warm, aged patina with subtle variations in tone that highlight the depth and sculptural quality of the piece.
Though originally functional, it now serves beautifully as a stand-alone object—an evocative remnant of something larger, chosen for its form and quiet presence.
