Antique German Muskat Nutmeg Spice Jar | Blue & White Stoneware Canister with Lid
A charming antique German-style Muskat spice jar featuring traditional blue-and-white decoration, ornate lettering, and a beautifully aged cream glaze. Believed to date to the early 20th century, this small stoneware kitchen canister brings old-world European character to a collected home.
“Muskat” is the German word for nutmeg. The jar features decorative blue floral motifs, classic Gothic-style lettering, and coordinating blue bands around its gently shaped body. A matching fitted lid with a small knob completes the piece.
Perfect for displaying in an antique kitchen cupboard, open shelving, farmhouse pantry, or alongside a collection of blue-and-white pottery. Its compact size also makes it a lovely accent for traditional, English country, cottage, and European-inspired interiors.
