An exceptional antique diploma dated 1891 from Warren County, Ohio, beautifully preserved under glass in its original ornate gold-tone wood frame.

The elaborate carved wood ornamentation gives the frame wonderful architectural presence, while the diploma itself shows more than 130 years of honest age through soft foxing and tonal variation. An original timeworn ribbon detail remains within the composition, adding another layer of history to this remarkable piece.
