Vintage Oval “Passe-Temps des Dames” Lithograph Print in Ornate Gold Frame

A romantic vintage oval wall art piece featuring Passe-Temps des Dames by Henri Pingot, presented in an ornate gold oval frame with raised decorative detailing.

This mid-century reproduction print is based on a 19th-century Victorian fashion plate illustration and was commonly distributed in the United States by David Ashley Inc. around the 1940s. The soft pastel tones, floral header, and elegant interior scene give it a beautiful Victorian revival / Hollywood Regency feel.

The frame is a substantial oval form with gold finish, beaded inner trim, and floral crest-style accents along the sides and top/bottom. The original backing paper is still present, including labels and hanging hardware. The backing does show age-related wear, paper splitting, creasing, and staining, which has been photographed for review. The front displays beautifully with no notable damage seen to the print or frame from normal viewing distance.
