A colorful pair of vintage Chinese guardian lions, commonly known as Foo Dogs, featuring traditional Sancai-style multicolored glazing. Beautiful leaf-green bodies, mustard-yellow and brown accents, and decorative openwork pedestals give these charming pieces plenty of character.
Sold as a married pair rather than an original matching set, the lions feature subtle differences in glaze, base coloration, and construction. Believed to date to the mid-to-late 20th century, possibly from different production periods or pottery workshops.
Perfect for styling a bookshelf, mantel, or thoughtfully collected chinoiserie-inspired interior.
