A beautiful vintage Florentine box by ARAM, handmade in Florence and retaining its original maker’s label on the underside.

Decorated in a rich red and gilt palette with traditional Florentine ornamentation, this petite box has the wonderfully layered, timeworn character we love in older Italian decorative pieces. The interior is lined in velvet, making it equally lovely displayed on a dressing table, tucked among books, or used to hold small keepsakes and collected treasures.

Condition

Vintage condition with age-related surface wear, rubbing, and variation to the decorative finish. There is noticeable paint loss on the top where a previous estate-sale sticker was removed. The velvet-lined interior also shows wear consistent with prior use. Original ARAM “Handmade in Florence” label remains on the underside.
