Antique W.H. Grindley Melbourne Flow Blue 10-Inch Plate with Wall Hanger | Victorian Staffordshire

A beautiful example of late-Victorian English flow blue, this 10-inch plate features the Melbourne pattern by W.H. Grindley of Staffordshire, England. Rich cobalt-blue floral bouquets alternate with delicate latticework panels, while an elegantly scalloped rim and raised scrollwork lend depth and character to this classic English design.

Dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890s, this antique plate retains its softly flowing cobalt decoration and a beautifully preserved white center. The reverse bears a blue maker's mark, although the marking has softened with age.

Complete with a removable wire wall hanger, this piece is ready to become part of a thoughtfully collected home.
