Antique The Pathfinder; or, The Inland Sea | James Fenimore Cooper
A handsome late-Victorian edition of James Fenimore Cooper’s The Pathfinder; or, The Inland Sea, presented in richly aged burgundy cloth with an ornate blind-stamped cover.
Published by Donohue, Henneberry & Co. of Chicago and believed to date to approximately 1894–1899, this volume carries more than a century of history in its softened cloth, timeworn pages, and beautifully decorative binding. Originally published in 1840, The Pathfinder forms part of Cooper’s celebrated Leatherstocking Tales.
A particularly striking old volume for a collected library, layered tabletop, or display of antique books—its wear very much part of its character.
