Antique P.S.A.G. Bavaria Maurville Hand-Painted Pink Rose Porcelain Charger | 12”
$88.00 USD
A beautiful early 20th-century Bavarian porcelain charger combining a softly atmospheric ground with lush, hand-painted pink roses.
Measuring a substantial 12 inches in diameter, the plate features clusters of full pink roses and foliage arranged around the perimeter, connected by slender green stems. The background shifts from creamy ivory through soft moss and olive green, giving the floral decoration an almost watercolor-like quality.
The decoration is signed Maurville in red on the face of the plate. The reverse bears the crowned P.S.A.G. Bavaria backstamp together with Hand Painted, identifying the porcelain as Bavarian and confirming its hand-decorated character.
Its generous scale makes it particularly striking as a cabinet plate, wall display, or centerpiece within a collection of antique European porcelain.
