This substantial earthenware platter features a handsome strutting turkey surrounded by an elaborate border of autumn fruits, flowers, and foliage.

The design begins with a rich brown transfer decoration, with select details embellished with hand-painted color in shades of yellow, pink, blue, and warm autumn tones. The combination gives the platter wonderful depth while retaining the slight variations and character associated with vintage decorated ceramics.

Measuring approximately 17 inches across, the platter has plenty of presence for a Thanksgiving table and is generously sized for serving.
